1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Console Maven ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Console Maven provides console error detection, browser testing, and AI-powered analysis for web applications. The Service includes:
- Multi-browser console error scanning
- AI-powered error analysis and fix suggestions
- Performance monitoring and Lighthouse audits
- Scan history and dashboard access
3. User Accounts
Authentication: User accounts are created via OAuth authentication with Google or GitHub. We do not store passwords.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys.
Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
Free Tier: Limited to 100 scans per day with Chrome browser only.
Pro Tier ($49/month): Includes 10,000 scans per day, multi-browser support, and advanced AI analysis.
Enterprise Tier ($499/month): Unlimited scans with custom features.
Payment: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
5. Usage Limits and Fair Use
Each tier includes specific usage limits as described in your subscription. Excessive or abusive use that significantly exceeds normal patterns may result in service throttling or account suspension.
Rate Limiting: Anonymous users are limited to 3 scans per 24 hours with a 1-hour cooldown between scans.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service to scan websites you do not own or have permission to test
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code
- Use the Service to conduct any illegal activity or violate third-party rights
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without authorization
- Overload or interfere with the Service infrastructure
- Use automated scripts to bypass rate limits
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, algorithms, and content, is owned by Console Maven and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Your use of the Service does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property rights.
User Data: You retain all rights to URLs you scan and the data generated from those scans. We use scan data only to provide the Service and improve our algorithms.
8. Service Availability and Limitations
Uptime: We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind.
Maintenance: We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice when possible.
Data Retention: Scan results are retained for 90 days for Free tier, 1 year for Pro tier, and custom periods for Enterprise tier.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- Console Maven shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim
- We are not responsible for errors in AI-generated suggestions or scan results
- You are solely responsible for implementing any fixes or changes to your website
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Console Maven from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We comply with GDPR and CCPA regulations for data protection.
12. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules.
